Torrid - Kim Seifert does band-in-a-box for her singing gigs, but the stream-switching for actual karaoke gigs would be a logistical nightmare. Maybe if people record in advance and submit MP3s for some MC to send out... perhaps if it's done over TalkShoe or Blogtalkradio or Skypecast or something so it can be done real-time...
I've been pondering this for a short story discussion group, too.
Perhaps SL Voice will end up being the answer.
